I took the soft cheese workshop with Heather in the Fall. I had a great time and learned so much about cheese and cheese making. Heather is a font of knowledge and her cheese is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend taking one of her classes!

After booking a 2 night stay at Sweetwood Farm, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to learn to make cheese. This turned out to be a great decision and Heather taught us so much and gave us a ton of cheese to take home. We will be coming back for an aged cheese class in the future, and highly recommend doing a farm stay here as well as partaking in a cheese making class.

I just returned from the Level 2 – Hard Cheese making course and it was fantastic. Lots of information is provided by Heather and she makes sure that all questions are answered thoroughly. Really brought my basic cheesemaking abilities to the next level. We were set up in small groups to make each of our own recipe but were given ample opportunity to see what the other groups were making. Enough supplies were provided in the groups so that each one of us could take home about 500g of cheese. I particularly liked how the day was structured so that it was relaxing and really moved the material along at the same time. Getting to see the baby goats at the end of the day was a bonus….The surroundings are beautiful and the house is very cozy and welcoming. Heather has done a fantastic job in setting up a very good and fully informative course.
